"Helping you move towards a more comfortable state of being"

My goals as a Massage Therapist are to help you improve posture, alignment, and overall health of muscle and connective tissues. I also believe that a soothed nervous system facilitates deep healing. This is why relaxation is an important aspect of the treatments I offer.

I incorporate Relaxation Massage with Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue work, Neuromuscular Technique, Trigger Point Therapy, as well as more subtle techniques, like Craniosacral Therapy and Visceral Manipulation. Combining these different modalities makes for a relaxing and effective treatment.

You can explore the modalities that I use below.

During your first session we will go through an assessment, in order to see what treatment techniques will best suit your specific needs. This also helps me to have an understanding of your body and health history. From there, each treatment will be unique, depending on what you need when you arrive that day.

As a member in good standing with MTAA (Massage Therapy Association of Alberta) the receipts I provide are accepted by insurance providers that support Massage Therapy in their plans.

Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral Therapy is a very gentle and therapeutic technique developed by Osteopathic Physician John E. Upledger after years of clinical testing and research. Very specific techniques working within the Craniosacral system- which includes the  sacrum, spine, skull, brain, spinal cord and cerebrospinal fluid work to balance this system and can provide a gentle release for tension that is being held in the body.

Visceral Manipulation.JPG

Visceral Manipulation

Specific techniques are used to help release fascial restrictions within the abdomen and abdominal organs. This encourages the normal movement and function of your internal organs.

Warm Bamboo Massage

Heated bamboo sticks relax stiff, achy muscles and allow me to work into deeper layers of tissue and muscle. The warmth instantly soothes muscles and creates a relaxing and therapeutic experience. Hands on techniques and the use of bamboo are interwoven throughout the treatment which is tailored to your needs.
